As today wraps up the very last day of 2013, I’m humbled and thankful for every priceless opportunity of the last year to share and tell a piece of others’ stories. As per the annual tradition, I’m taking the time to cherish those stories once again by sharing some of my most favorite moments.

First to commemorate was gathering together with local talent to create Alex+Krystal’s published styled wedding with vendors from the Windmill Winery. I have loved every moment this year growing in community with the vendors and creatives of the Windmill Winery and it was such a joy to see this beautiful work of talent come together as a published piece to start the year off right!

Next up, thoroughly enjoyed telling the story of Millie+Jonathan’s love in the remote setting of the Arizona Salt River. So honored to see it land on Inspired by This! Was also an image from this shoot that became my most pinned image on pinterest (like 1,000x over!).

Dean+Brittany’s wedding blew me away with amazing blue skies and scenery to envy at their Munds Park wedding this spring. Their too-cute-for-words big day landed the pages of the DIY Bride later this fall.Flagstaff Wedding (101 of 140)

Got to shoot the real engagement of a much beloved friend in this darling, sunny, romance field engagement that was one of my faves with couple Beth+Elijah. Can’t forget the collaborating with my favorite, Mariana Marie, to give Beth a beautiful look with hair and makeup.

Sweetest ever Anna+Nate wed in the valley on a warm summer day (they’re brave!) and capturing their desert romance was a highlight of my year. Redemption Gilbert Wedding2 (20 of 50) copy

Just a week later, Becca+TJ made my heart swoon even more with their joyful local church wedding on a lovely cloudy day (was so grateful for monsoon season this year and the lovely skies it provided!!).Untitled-5 Phoenix Wedding (52 of 120)

During the fall, I teamed up with EMMA magazine, producing their Fall Fashion spread. It was like nothing I’d ever shot before, and I loved every minute of it. The printed edition sits on my shelf and every once and awhile I pull it out to relive the beauty all over again.

Sean+Kelly’s northern Idaho wedding blew up the blog a few weeks later with their intimate wedding in the plains of the north, and became my most viewed wedding of the year.Untitled-2Charity Maurer Photography (15 of 112)

John+Katelyn gave me the incredible honor of capturing their surprise proposal in the fields of San Tan Valley, leaving everyone to gush over their sweetness.

Erin+Andrew had the cutest big barn wedding at the Windmill Winery just before the cold set in, and I loved shooting every detail of their gorgeous day!!Windmill Winery Charity Maurer Photography (84 of 150) Untitled-12

Lastly, not even published yet, Mariana+Sloan’s mountain inspired wedding made a fuss with only a sneak peek in sight. Just a hint of the beauty already in store for 2014 :).

Thank-you to each and every one of you that asked me into such an important time of life and allowed me the opportunity to paint a picture of beauty there. I’m so honored and grateful to get to live this dream, and I absolutely, positively could not do it without you.

So excited for 2014 and all it will hold! Happy New Year!
