Last year I started the tradition of photographing my family’s yearly family photos. All year long I meet so many wonderful people and have the immeasurable joy of getting to photograph their lives. The idea came when I realized I was missing out on getting to capture those memories for some of the people closest to me. Last year we created a gorgeous luxury leather album (the same I use for clients’ wedding albums) with the images and gave it to my parent’s for Christmas. I still love looking at it. This year, we’ve had lots of new little additions via births and adoptions and I was so glad to know we’d get to capture all the new little faces! Yes, I do have a lot of family. With 8 brothers and sisters and over 35 grandkids (I lost count by now), this is quite the task. But, I love it. Some family didn’t make it in town this year, and we missed them a lot!
