Let me just start this post by saying Anna and Nate are a pretty amazing couple, and I was incredibly blessed to share in their day. You know it’s a connection made only by God’s providence when you receive an e-mail from an inquiring bride through an admired industry partner and end up being from the same church. Yes, Anna and I attend the same church and we had no idea until we sat down for coffee for the first time! She is an elegant woman with a confidence that shines through her smile, and her man Nate, who Andy and I had the pleasure of getting to know as we sat in the car together waiting for the rain to finish pouring the day we shot their romance portraits, is a man of character and strength. Getting to witness two people’s wedding day gives you the unique and treasured experience of seeing into what-would-be-strangers lives, and I cherish that honor. Anna is so breathtaking in these images, and I loved that she picked out a delicate piece from fellow local wedding vendor Mignonne Handmade’s collection to complete her bridal look. Many thanks to this family’s kind demeanor in letting us share the day with them and, of course, to dear Andy who helped me get some of the highlighted shots from the day. I could not be the artist I am without the beautiful people who allow me into their lives and hubs who is always right there to help and encourage!

Let me just pause and say I had *serious* dress envy when I saw this white pretty thing. Of course I had to ask where it’s from–TJ Max years ago. Don’t think I will get lucky finding it, so secretly I’m just holding onto this picture and living through her :).
