This session started with Erin and I reminiscing about how we know each other. There were several potential avenues for crossing paths (friends in common, homeschooling) but we eventually decided it was dance that really brought our lives together. We had fun reminiscing on those dreams of old and how much we loved the art of Irish dance. Now, Erin is a sweet mother of 2.5, married, and living states away. I was so thrilled when I got a message from her letting me know she wanted to take family photos when they came in town. Family sessions aren’t something I do entirely often, but when I shoot them, this is the sort of family I love in front of my camera: a stylish couple in love and small kiddos with lots of personality. Anya and Vigo were precious. I loved capturing their interactions with mom and dad, and the cloudy weather illuminating the sites of the Arizona desert in the spring was only too perfect.
