Texas sweethearts Kc and Ben celebrated their 3-day Royal Palms wedding weekend in Arizona this spring! As Texas natives, they planned a hospitable and welcoming event for their entire destination guest list, from a Friday welcome dinner at El Chorro to a Sunday departure brunch the day after the wedding (blog posts from those events coming shortly). Their wedding weekend was full of fun, great food, and lots of love that really shined during their friend’s and family’s speeches during rehearsal dinner and the wedding day. There were so many sentimental details, one being that Ben’s wedding ring was passed down from his very own grandpa! Also noteworthy, Kc wore a dress from the very bridal shop that provided the initial opportunity for her and Ben to meet! She was modeling for the shop owner when the owner introduced her to Ben (both were friends of the shop owner–how cool?!). Three of my personal favorite elements from the day were Kc’s stunning cathedral length veil, the colors of her bouquet (it was refreshing to see a good dose of color in her bouquet that was both subtle yet had “pop”), and their ceremony welcome sign that featured a custom quote from Ben’s grandpa. All in all, the quaint and character-rich space of the Royal Palms Resort set a stunning stage for their heartfelt day to unfold (in particular, their clean walls made stunning bridal portraits for Kc!).
