Katie and Chasen were married last month at their gorgeous private estate wedding in Scottsdale, Arizona. There have only been a handful of my clients that are local this year, so sharing the rich appreciation for my home state with these two was a treat! Katie and Chasen are true romantics. Every element of their day was intentionally planned and beautifully shouted the two of them (thanks to Imoni Events for helping with the execution!). I shared this super sweet excerpt written by Chasen with their engagement session, but it so eloquently sums up the fun and sweetness that is this pair, so I can’t help but share this cute story of the moment they met all over again:

“Katie and I met at a UCLA summer camp in 2007 by way of a random chance encounter. One night in typical teen ostentation, I decided to dress up and act as ridiculous as possible with my group of friends. I adorned a pink boa, a furry top hat, and roamed the dormitory hallways looking for mischief. When the elevator doors opened to the second floor, I found it – well, her! I hardly noticed any of the shared laughter between her group of friends and my own. In that moment we simply locked eyes and I knew I was in the best kind of trouble that would last forever.”
