When the summer rolls around in Phoenix, I excitedly anticipate the extra “breathing room” of off-season as well as the opportunity to challenge myself with creative projects. This year, I teamed up with my dear friend Jess from Shine Events to create something original+unique. I love the Arizona Biltmore as a wedding venue–it’s full of history and rich architecture that I find so beautiful. I was also interested in playing with deeper color than I usually tend to photograph, and after telling Jess these two things, she brought together this beautiful vision using the color emerald green and a gold leaf linen from La Tavola as her main inspiration. An incredible team of vendors came together to bring all of this to life, and it wouldn’t be the same without their help+talent! It kind of blows me away when I witness the skill firsthand that exists here in the valley–I’m so blessed to get to work with such a talented local industry.
