These two have to be two of my most creative friends. Millie met Jonathan at my cousin’s wedding. Now, he’s in Chicago while she’s here (I don’t mind–I’m holding onto this girl as long as I can have her). I started hearing about this Jonathan guy who was creating beautiful images (he’s a graphic designer) for my sweet friend that were stirring her heart. So, I thought I’d give him a chance. Seeing the way he’s carefully cared for my precious friend’s heart, you’d think I fell in love too. Being creatives at heart, I knew it was only a matter of time before they styled a shoot and ended up on the other side of my lens. Alas, when Jonathan visited in March, it went down as we planned this stunning engagement inspiration at Saguaro Lake. Millie and I have worked alongside each other enough that I giggled as she told me the plan, and, of course, it was exactly to CMP standard with soft colors and in a beautiful scenic setting.

I also have to note, Jonathan is the designer of my watercolor backdrop. I love it so much and am constantly inspired by his creativity as a fellow artist. You can follow his work, here.
