You know when you first meet someone and you can see they are something special? That’s how I felt about Gabi and Jeff. When we first sat down to chat about their wedding, I knew whole-heartedly I wanted to walk alongside these people in this special season. It takes generous hearts to bring you all the way from home to meet on their turf (photographing in a new city is every photographer’s dream, am I right??!), but to go above and beyond in sharing your time, energy, and life with another person is the best gift, especially when it involves a 9-month-old :). You would never know the adventure this entire shoot was: swift winds, crowds of people, and sweet puppy Dot, but that’s truly what I love about this job. Taking away all the mess and pulling together something absolutely calm and beautiful. I rediscovered a new love and appreciation for Los Angeles, thanks to the G+J giving us food recommendations and sharing the history of the city with us. Gabi and Jeff, you are two special souls and I can’t wait to spend your special day with you! Congrats!
