As 2012 comes to a close and I begin to reflect on the last year, I am so, so thankful.

2012 started out with a bang with Michelle+Joshua’s sweet Pecan Grove engagement session. I couldn’t have been more blessed to get to photograph these two and their Christ-centered love for one another–seriously. The way they love inspired me to remember what’s important in my marriage–Jesus. I’m so excited to see them married now (Andy and I got to attend their wedding as guests!), and can only wait to see how they continue to inspire people towards Christ. So exciting about this sweet session is that it ended up on the pages of Pen and Paper Weddings blog as my first publication! An exciting goal of 2012 fulfilled!

In March I had so much joy photographing for Anna+Andrew at their really beautiful wedding at the Farm at South Mountain. It only started an itch, that was eventually fulfilled, to shoot there again!

This Fall I returned to the Olive Grove and had the great pleasure of shooting enagement photos for new friends this year, Daniel+Danielle. Talented Millie helped me pull together a concept for their shoot, and it so sweet–again, one of my personal favorite sessions of the year!

Aw yes, and then my return to the farm. I was joined by too many talented vendors and the sweet people of the Farm at South Mountain to bring this lovely woodsy bridal inspiration. Two images they loved so much that the Farm included them in their new sample bridal book for weddings at the farm!

I was overjoyed to have the opportunity to shoot on the ocean shore with Eric+Christy over family vacation in NC. I still go back to catch sneaks of this session and embrace that lovely ocean… 🙂

Loved assisting my talented friend, Ryan Topping, on this fun couple’s, Gail+Cody, wedding at the Secret Garden!

Shot for Abbee+Justin on Tempe Beach Park in October. The colors, the light, and the young love of these two made for some truly beautiful images.

For Christmas, April+Eric stepped in front of my camera for another of my favorite sessions of the year. That may have something to do with puppy Ted (and I reassure you–I’m not even a big animal lover).

Oh, and I how I could go on, and on with all the stunning images clients (and friends) of 2012 gave me the privilege of creating, but I’m afraid soon enough this is going to start feeling like a never-ending blogpost.

Friends, thanks so much for your encouragement this year! I’m so thrilled about 2013 and all that it is about to bring. With a couple of publications coming up (which have been on the hush, hush–I’ve been DYING to share!), and  one of my favorite sessions yet to be shown, I’m ready to say good-bye to 2012 with lots of hope and expectation. It has been a year of growth, success, and challenges. Thanks so much to everyone who’s followed my journey this year. I’m so excited to see how God wants to continue to use CMP for his glory in the new year!!

With love,

Charity
